Llands at Clonburris, which have been  zoned residential for several years, have now been designated as a Strategic Development Zone (SDZ). This is the same type of template as applies to the Adamstown area of Lucan.

Plans for Clonburris are now at the formal public consultation stage. There are over 12,000 residential units likely to be built, but you can have a say as to how and when these homes are devevloped. What facilities should be put in place? What linkages and access to facilities should existing residents? How should the canal area be developed and the local environment be protected? What about schools, transport, shops, local community buildings, green spaces etc?
