Notice from Council regarding Monday bin collection Palmerstown and Palmerstown Woods
The following is a statement from the Council which is worth passing on just in case anyone misses it. It deals with parts of Palmerstown and Clondalkin but relates to an issue that is affecting a lot more people throughout the constituency this August.
Black Bin Collections Monday 16th August 2010
“Route 45 was not collected yesterday Monday, due to staffing levels.
“Customers affected were notified by text that a collection had been scheduled for today Tuesday 17th.
Due to staffing levels no replacement collection will take place today. Customers have been notified by text that a collection has been scheduled for tomorrow Wednesday 18th August.”
Route 45 includes the following areas in Palmerstown:
Woodfarm Acres
Whitethorn Estate
And in Clondalkin:
Palmerstown Woods
James Connolly Estate
Station Road & Close
Cragg Industrial Estate
“There were high presentation rates yesterday and collections were not completed in all instances in the allocated work day. Continued and adequate usage of the brown bin will change this pattern.
Customers affected were notified by text that a collection had been scheduled for today Tuesday 17th.
“Due to staffing levels no replacement collection will take place today. Customers have been notified by text that a collection has been scheduled for tomorrow Wednesday 18th August.”
