This update 16th December 2022
The Council provides salt bins for use on roads that are not on salting routes but have localised sharp inclines. The bins are provided to enable residents to spread salt on these problematic areas and also used by staff in the vicinity.
The attached image above shows the locations of the salt bins. However if you come across some that do not appear to be replenished or stocked recently let me know and I will report, like this one below near Sarsfield Park in Lucan village.
