This update December 16th
What did I say, a further extension to the extension to the extension! This time until the end of January. The Celbridge Link Road is nearly completed, however.
"In order to facilitate the construction of the new Celbridge Link Road and Tubber Lane junction alignment, South Dublin County Council made an order to temporar-ily close Tubber Lane Road at the section of the road where the new Celbridge link road crosses Tubber Lane, from Monday 7th March 2022 to Wednesday 6th July 2022 inclusive. Hours of closure 24hrs. This closure was then extended to 2nd December 2022.
"In order to complete the works, it is necessary to further extend this closure up until 31st January 2023.
Alternative Routes: -
The diversion route will be via Stacumny Lane, R403 and R483. The length of the diversion to be approx. 3.84m.
· Local access will be maintained.
· Detour signs will be erected."

In order to facilitate the construction of the new Celbridge Link Road and Tubber Lane junction alignment, South Dublin County Council has made an order to temporarily close Tubber Lane Road at the section of the road where the new Celbridge link road crosses Tubber Lane.
This was originally from Monday 7th March 2022 to Wednesday 6th July 2022 inclusive. However this was extended several times since and the Council has now stated that in order to complete the works "Fox building and Engineering Ltd has advised that it is necessary to extend the closure to Friday the 2nd December 2022".
